While you do not need to be accredited to invest in The Cashmere Fund, there are some key requirements to be aware of.
Central to our ethos is the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to invest in venture capital. Opening up that access is no easy feat! Today, we require Members to meet the following criteria:

Provide a US social security number as a US person (i.e. US citizen or US resident alien) permitted to complete a Form W-9

Note: We are unfortunately currently not able to support the completion of a Form W-8BEN by foreign persons (including non-resident aliens)

Link a US-domiciled bank account via Plaid

Provide a US mailing address

Provide a US phone number to complete two-factor authentication

Potential workaround: Some Members have had success using a Google Voice or other VoIP service

We are fully committed to working through the regulatory challenges with opening up broad access to VC investing, including to countries outside of the United States. It is our objective to broaden our reach to markets outside of the United States, on a country-by-country basis.
