We protect all your personal data and financial information.
Your data is encrypted and transported over HTTPS with 2048-bit encryption using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and all data is encrypted “at rest”, meaning where it resides in the database when it is not moving through networks. This helps ensure that anything you send to our servers is private while in transit and remains private for as long as we retain it. Sweater applications and data are held in secure data centers.
The Cashmere Fund uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an extra layer of security to protect your account.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a layer of security applied to investment accounts to ensure that the person attempting to log in is in fact the account holder and not a malicious person. Members are required to have a US-based phone number to complete two-factor authentication.
We will utilize 2FA to verify it is you in two instances:
- When updating your account information, such as email address or phone number, and/or
- When logging in, if you have opted out of biometrics (ie Face ID or Fingerprint Sensor), we will utilize 2FA to verify it is you.
We'll send a text to your registered phone number containing a time-sensitive, unique six-digit code you'll need to enter to log in.
Each code expires within a two minute window. Once a code has expired, you are able to request a new code.
